Associate Professor at University of Chieti and Chairman of the Neurology Unit at Pescara Hospital
Prof. Onofrj obtained his MD degree from the Catholic University of Rome where he completed a Residency in Neurology. After holding teaching appointments at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC, Prof. Onofrj became Associate Professor at University of Chieti and Chairman of the Neurology Unit at Pescara Hospital.
His main research interest has always been centered on experimental models of extrapyramidal diseases, technological development of bioeletrectric signal analysis related to cognitive activities, Movement Disorders Clinic.
Author of 107 papers published on JCR quoted journals, of 32 chapters in international books, Invited lecturer in 12 International congresses (European, American, Pan Pacific, International Societies Congresses).
